Muthuvel Karunanidhi M. Karunanidhi, June 3, 1924 – August 7, 2018 One of the politicians of Tamil Nadu. He has been the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu five times. He was also the President of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam from 1969 to 2018. In 1969, he became the first Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

On May 13, 2006, he became the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for the fifth time. Karunanidhi is involved in storytelling and dialogue in the Tamil film industry. During the play ‘Lift’ M. R. Radha, to whom, conferred the title of ‘Artist’. He is still called by the same name by his supporters. He was one of the most important senior political figures who continued to play a role in Indian politics. He passed away on 7th August 2018 in Chennai at the age of 94.
