Why am I the Mudhalvan plan? Chief Minister explained to the students
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has launched the College Dream Program, which will guide 12th graders to higher education under the program “I am the first”.
Minister of School Education Anbil Mahesh Poyamozhi, Minister of Higher Education Ponmudi, Minister of Hindu Charities Sekarbabu, Chief Secretary Irayanpu and students, parents were present.
Speaking to students at the event, Chief Minister Stalin said, “I stand before you in a position where this show can be refreshing and invigorating.

The Tamil Nadu government is set to reopen priestly schools
The Department of Hindu Religious Affairs (HR & CE) Division is set to reopen Priest Training Colleges (Priest Training School) in mid-July, after 14 years.
After the DMK came back to power in 2021, the DMK government led by MK Stalin promised to revive the institutions to ensure social justice by providing priestly programs to all Hindus irrespective of caste.
This is one of the many important projects of Kalaignar, a former chief minister of DMK, to ensure social justice by undermining the dominance of a particular section in the priesthood. The project was launched in 2007.
“We are going to reopen the priest training colleges in the second week of July. There are 210 college students enrolled in the six colleges,” said Mr.P.K.Sekarbabu, Minister of Hindu Religious & Charitable endowments.

Assam floods: About 45 lakh people affected
In the last 24 hours, 33,03,316 people from 3,510 villages in 28 districts have been affected by the floods. A further 91658.49 hectares of crops were damaged by the floods.
