What are the treatment options for pancreatic cancer?
Depending on the severity of the disease, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery are performed.

Radiation therapy: High-energy radiation destroys the cancer cells.
Surgery: Surgery removes the tumor completely. In most cases, surgery is the only permanent solution. Chemotherapy and radiation therapy are for patients who are inoperable.
