Jaggery [grated] – ¼ cup,
Cardamom powder – ½ teaspoon,
Grated coconut – ½ cup,
Ghee – 2 tbsp.
Soak the urad dal for 8 hours, drain the water and keep it in a warm vessel. Keep it covered for 7 hours and then it will germinate.
Coarsely grind the sprouted urad dal in a mixer. Add ghee, jaggery, cardamom powder and then coconut to it and mix well. Pour this mixture into the pudding pan and then steam for 10 minutes. Serve hot.
